weekly roundup

one: So you know how people always insist certain commercials are the best ones? Well THIS is the best one. It will certainly bring a smile to your face.

three: This may be hard to believe, but that beautiful shimmery piece of art? It's 6,000 recycled CDs! 128 volunteers came together in Varna, Bulgaria to put this together, and it is just breathtaking. The website includes more pictures, and videos of it so you can see the shimmeryness in action!

four: I have never been more behind a project before. Philadelphia has launched their anti-harassment series in the transit system, and I found myself agreeing with every single one. We can't keep writing off harassment as a minor issue, when it is a major one.

five: 33 surreal places that actually exist. Oh my goodness. Stars in eyes. All these pictures are completely amazing, and I'm pretty sure I just stared wide eyed at all of them as I scrolled through.

Have a fabulous week!

  1. I truly LOVE this post, and each vignette was wonderful. I had seen the Honey Made commercial and knew it would create some buzz. I think the way they handles this was perfect, and that should be a commercial. Those artists did an excellent job!

Who would have guessed the anti-harassment campaign would start in our own Philadelphia?? I think this is a perfect campaign, though one which will be hard to get the American male to follow, or even understand!!

As for the surreal photos, I was at the location in Arizona of those beautiful walls - and it is better in person. These were great shots, and we should visit them . . . soon!
