Yellow Off The Shoulder Dress: Day Look

I'm jumping head first into the off the shoulder trend this summer. I usually try to stay away from super "trendy" pieces since they never last long, but I just can't help myself! Off the shoulder dresses are just too much fun! Especially this Cupcakes + Cashmere one. It's incredibly comfortable, the perfect color, and has just the right amount of twirl to it. I wore it a couple weeks back to Merrymead Farm, a local farm that sells ice cream and is so much fun to walk around!
Another note about this dress, you will get so many compliments on it! I had someone stop me in Costco to ask me where I bought it! So you know it's a winner. And the little calf I met in the pictures below (who I decided to name Bessie), really liked it too! ;)

I'll be back next Monday to take this dress into a look for a night out!

Summer Sunglasses

I will always have at least one pair of sunglasses on me in the summertime. Usually two. Plus the pair I keep in my car just in case. Clearly, I have an obsession with all things sunglasses. And in recent years, I've realized that it is so much better to invest in a good pair, rather than buy a bunch of cheapy ones. They always fall apart by the end of the summer, and are better to buy when it's a passing trend. But with the classics? Investing is the key. So I rounded up some of my favorite pairs of each shape below, in all ranges of price. And if you don't find a pair you like, click on the style to see all the options! Let's get shopping!

20 Summer Dresses Under $200

Dresses are ALWAYS my go to in the summer. Easiest way to stay cool and look amazing at the same time. But at the same time, I don't want to break the bank buying a million dresses. (Okay, maybe I would want to. But I shouldn't.) So I rounded up 20 summer dresses under $200 from  Shopbop. I used to think  Shopbop was only for super expensive clothes and  big name designers (which I love to stare longingly at), but thankfully for my budget, they have SO many fabulous options that won't break the bank. They even have a running boutique called  Fashion Finds under $200. Major win. And I apologize in advance for putting so many fun and pretty dress options into one post ;)  Happy shopping!

Stripes and Fresh Flowers

It's official. This is going to be the dress I live in this summer. It is SO comfortable, and you can just never go wrong with black and white stripes. I dressed it down with my favorite Converse and my trusty jean jacket, but I can totally see myself throwing on fun heels to wear this out for dinner. You know I love my versatile pieces!

Navy Stripes and Orange Heels

This may officially be one of my favorite outfits now. This Cupcakes and Cashmere top is incredibly comfortable, and surprisingly versatile. (On the shoulders, off the shoulders) And these heels are AMAZING. I bought them in this orange suede and also in black, and I have no regrets. They're comfortable, cute AND under $30. Oh yeah, they also come in six colors. Excuse me while I run off to buy the rest!

I think I'll take stripes and orange any day!
