pastel loving

First, wish me luck as I head to get a tooth pulled this morning! (More about that here.) I'll be drinking milkshakes and eating yogurt all day long. (Definitely not complaining about that part!)
Second, this spring has made me realize I do not own as many pastel clothing items as I want! Which definitely makes dressing springy a challenge. But then you find a pair of Sperry's you forgot you had, and everything fits together! (Also, first outfit post while wearing my glasses!)

Is there a right way to tie Sperry's? Because I certainly have not found it yet!

shirt: Ralph Lauren // jeans: Lucky // necklace: gift (similar) // shoes: Sperry (love these!) // glasses: Nine West (IN LOVE with these Warby Parker ones!)

Do you have a lot of pastels in your closet?

  2. Ooh, I love your Sperry's -- you usually don't see pink ones! And I suffer from not knowing how to tie mine the "right" way as well, haha... they always look messy or come undone. So if you find a good way, please share!

And good luck at the dentist!

  7. Gosh, I have to get my teeth pulled but I'm terrified! On another note, I feel the same about pastels. I love them, they're everywhere but I barely have any! Good idea on getting a little pop of pastel from your Sperry's, though!

  8. Pastels usually wash me out, but I still love the look of them (I own a couple of pastel accessories though). You're rekindled my love of Sperry's; I'll have to go dig out my old tan ones this weekend.

  9. Loving the glasses on you! They definitely take some time to get use to.. I know I sometimes have trouble walking if I decide to wear my glasses all day lol. Loving the pink Sperrys! They are super cute!

    1. Thanks so much Rina! And I normally wear my contacts, so when I do wear my glasses, I always try to take them off like they're my sunglasses every time I go inside!

  12. Hello!

I somehow stumbled across your blog while looking for reviews of Sperrys this evening. I am looking at purchasing my very first pair! I have read all sorts of stories on various websites about Sperrys making feet really sweaty so I have been hesitant to buy a pair in the past.

Has this been your experience with Sperrys or are your feet always sweat-free when you wear them?

Fantastic website, by the way! You have a new fan!

    Sarah.
