Tulle Skirt and Cowboy Boots

From the moment I bought this skirt, I knew I wanted to wear it with cowboy boots. I don't know what it is about tulle and boots, but I love them together! Girly and country, wrapped into a pretty package. I went simple with my outfit in this post, but I definitely want to push myself out of my comfort zone in pairings.
Also, how is there not a country song called Tulle Skirt and Cowboy Boots? I'm copyrighting it now. ;)

Stripes and Fresh Flowers

It's official. This is going to be the dress I live in this summer. It is SO comfortable, and you can just never go wrong with black and white stripes. I dressed it down with my favorite Converse and my trusty jean jacket, but I can totally see myself throwing on fun heels to wear this out for dinner. You know I love my versatile pieces!

Pink Eyelet Romper

I usually have a REALLY hard time finding rompers that fit me nicely. I have a longer torso, making normal romper length a tight fit for me. But I've discovered that with rompers meant to be baggier, I can size up and have a perfect fit. I originally tried this one on in a small (my normal dress size), and was so disappointed it didn't fit. Thankfully, the sales associate of Nich Boutique (In Collegeville, PA if you live around here!) recommended giving the medium a chance. It fit much better, and I bought it immediately! Definitely happier going into summer with this little trick.

Anyone else have this problem?

white lace

I think I mentioned it a couple weeks ago, but I was lucky enough to score three pieces from the Lilly for Target collection, one of them being this super cute lace tank. I wore this to dinner to celebrate Mother's Day, and I love how simple and classic the look is. Pretty darn easy to throw on, but still out together. My kind of outfit!

orange you glad it's spring

Hope you enjoy my pun in the title there ;) I remember going outside to take these pictures and just being so happy that I didn't even need a coat and I was freezing and rushing to get done! I know I've said it a million times now, but YAY for warmer weather! I'm definitely celebrating by wearing bright colors all the time, and wearing as few layers as possible. (Side note, my dad told me I looked like a spy when I came out in this, which everyone who owns a trench coat wants to hear at least once, am I right?!)

navy, green and black

Navy, green and black. Otherwise known as my color scheme for all of winter. I feel like we all sound like broken records at this point, but WARM WEATHER WHERE ARE YOU? Outfit planning and blog pictures are so much more fun with bright sun and a warm breeze. Sigh. Until then, it's the cozy sweater and blanket scarf life for me! (Also, side note. You can't really tell in the pictures, but I'm wearing the new Essie Cashmere Matte nail polish and I LOVE it! I've always shied away from mattes because of that chalky like finish, but the Cashmere ones leave a soft finish that is just so pretty! [Just like cashmere! HA! I'm so punny.] Obsessed.)

The windswept look should probably be left to the models.

oxfords and tortoise

Days like today (aka days where it's snowing) really makes me miss being younger and having snow days. Snow days just don't exist in college and it is tragic. (Can you tell I just don't want to get up early and walk in the cold?)
Enough of my complaining, onto the outfit. This is absolutely my go to outfit when I want to look put together and cute, but don't have the time (or brain power) to put too much thought into it. Jeans plus an oxford is instant chic. Add a statement necklace for some sparkle (like this perfect one from Lalo and Rae) and I'm good to go!
