Lilly Pulitzer Pink

Coming back with another look from the Blog Societies Conference in Charleston! I found this bright pink Lilly dress and knew it would be perfect for the trip. I kept it neutral with the accessories since the dress was so bright, but I think my pearl Kendra Scott earrings were the perfect touch!
(Also, funny story about these pictures. We had planned to take pictures at the Pineapple Fountain, but is was so hot and there were a ton of kids playing in it. So we ended up just walking down a random street, and ended up with these. Just proves that all the streets are gorgeous in Charleston!)

Blush and Army Green

It is finally starting to feel like spring around here! (Although it's supposed to snow on Friday...but we're just going to ignore that little fact.) Whether it's warm or not, I've definitely started whipping out the more "spring-y" colors. And my favorite combo right now is blush pink and army green. I just love the look of them together! Add in bright white jeans and the perfect RayBans, and I am totally set. Anyone else just tired of dark winter colors right now? Especially when the sun is ACTUALLY out and everything is bright?

utility jacket & ikwetta sandals

Last weekend was probably the last good weekend of sandal weather (especially with this hurricane headed my way!), so I just had to wear my gorgeous Ikwetta sandals! They have an AMAZING story behind the company, and had a super successful kickstarter at the beginning of the summer! They definitely have a fan in me, and I can definitely see myself wearing these every summer and being a repeat customer! PS, the first ten people to use the code SPARKLES will get 15% off your purchase!

summer sweater

It's been way too hot lately to wear sweaters during the day, but lightweight sweaters are perfect for cool mornings and chilly evenings. AKA my new favorite sweater from the Lou & Grey line at The Loft. It's the perfect weight to make the transition from summer to fall, and has a fun light lime green color. AND a fun ballerina neck. I think I'll be wearing this one a lot.

new camera, new look

Happy Monday all! Last Monday was my birthday, and for said birthday, my parents got me my first DSLR camera. (And I've been squealing ever since.) I was so pumped when I finally got to shoot some outfit pictures with it, and it is safe to say I'm in love with it. The camera really does make a difference!
Also, I recently joined the renting program at Ditto, where you can rent sunglasses! You pay a monthly fee, and can rent pairs as often as you want. Basically, Netflix for sunglasses. I absolutely LOVE these Karen Walkers I got first, and I'm thinking about a pair of RayBans next! You can get your first month of renting free with the code DRESSINSPARKLES!

hat lovin'

This is going to sound weird, but I finally found a hat to fit my head! No one ever believes me until they've seen me trying hats on, but I have an abnormally large head. (I must just be really smart guys ;)) So I have such trouble finding cute hats that fit me right. And then I stumbled across this cute one at Aerie, and as soon as I tried it on, I knew I was going to buy it. It was exactly what I had been looking for AND it fit my head. Check, check.

getting flowery

I think this is one of my favorite shirts. And no surprise, it's something I snagged on sale. (All my favorite things tend to be ones I scored on a deal.) I got this at Anthropologie a couple years ago, and I still continually wear it. Which makes it an even better deal! Plus, it can be worn with so many different things. I dressed it up a little here with fun sunglasses and a gold purse, but I usually just throw it on with some jeans and head out the door!
