High Heels, Red Dress

(If you know where the title of this post comes from and start singing the song, we should probably be best friends right now.)

I always feel cooler when I'm wearing a leather jacket. Anyone else? Especially when it is paired with red and some high heels. I feel like I can take on the world! Watch out random people on the street, I can kick some butt today!
Okay maybe not, but in all seriousness, I feel like this combo is such a confidence booster. One of those combos that you know will make you feel good all day long. Which is the best kind in my opinion!

Ski Sweater

Do you ever have a piece of clothing that you put on and it makes you feel a certain way? This sweater is that piece for me! Every time I put it on, I feel like I need to be in an Aspen lodge, getting ready to go out skiing! Therefore, I shall forever be calling this my ski sweater. I wanted to fancy it up for this shoot, so I paired it with this mini skirt and some fun tights. But it's just as easily worn with jeans and boots! Okay ski sweater, you're my favorite.

Bell Sleeve Turtleneck

This is seriously my new favorite outfit. I snagged the sweater, jeans and booties back during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I am SO glad I did! I didn't know how much I would love the bell sleeve trend in a sweater until I tried it on. Such a fun little feature! And these jeans, guys. Most comfortable pair of jeans I own. Throw them all together, and I now have an outfit that I am going to wear far too often. Whoops.

Gingham and Loafers

I am someone who absolutely loves fall. Bring on pumpkin treats and Halloween fun! The only problem is when it is the middle of October and we're still having days where it is way too hot to be wearing pants, let alone a sweater. So this is the outfit I turn to during those days. I still try to bring in elements of fall dressing (loafers, black gingham, scarf), without overheating the moment I step outside. I am loving the neck scarf trend way more than I ever thought I would, and definitely want to continue it into sweater season. Also, these loafers are seriously the most comfortable pair I've ever owned. WIN.

Stripes and Fresh Flowers

It's official. This is going to be the dress I live in this summer. It is SO comfortable, and you can just never go wrong with black and white stripes. I dressed it down with my favorite Converse and my trusty jean jacket, but I can totally see myself throwing on fun heels to wear this out for dinner. You know I love my versatile pieces!
