Cozy Blush Sweater

Cozy sweaters are an absolute must in my fall wardrobe. I'm going to be honest...I get super lazy as it gets colder! I'm usually just throwing on a quick outfit that I know I'll be warm and comfortable in. Enter this look! This sweater is so soft, and I got it in a size up so it would be oversized. (And also have it in black. #noshame)
Another major component of my fall/winter wardrobe is amazing jeans! I recently started investing a little more into my jean purchases, and I'm so glad I did. They last longer and they tend to be softer and stretchier! My current favorite brand is Joe's Jeans, but I'm also loving Paige and Articles of Society

Tulle Skirt and Cowboy Boots

From the moment I bought this skirt, I knew I wanted to wear it with cowboy boots. I don't know what it is about tulle and boots, but I love them together! Girly and country, wrapped into a pretty package. I went simple with my outfit in this post, but I definitely want to push myself out of my comfort zone in pairings.
Also, how is there not a country song called Tulle Skirt and Cowboy Boots? I'm copyrighting it now. ;)

Bell Sleeves and Suede

Like I talked about back in this post, I have fallen in love with the bell sleeve trend! I think they add such a fun element to every outfit. I'm hoping this is a trend that will stick around for a while! Paired with a suede skirt and my Tory Burch boots, it became an instant outfit favorite! (PS, you should always check Nordstrom Rack for Tory Burch boots! I got mine over 50% off there in the fall!)

Floral Midi Dress

I have to admit, I never thought I'd be one to wear a midi dress. I had only tried on a couple before, and they always cut me weird. Enter this beauty. I decided to try it on during the anniversary sale at Nordstrom, and I immediately fell in love. Maybe it's the high slit, maybe it's the perfect color? Not sure, but it's my new favorite and I definitely plan on wearing it throughout fall. (with a cute jacket and booties of course!)
Also, this is my last set of pictures from my trip to Charleston (sad face). Guess that just means I have to go again soon! Rainbow Row totally exceeded my expectations. So many gorgeous homes, in every color! I could've stayed there all day (if it hadn't been for the humidity).

Polka Dot Dress & the #TBSCon Welcome Party

Well, hello there! It's been quite a while. Is it possible to make mid year resolutions? I think mine needs to be more dedication to my blog. Working night shift and picking up extra shifts like crazy has completely thrown me off my game. But it's crazy how much I miss blogging, especially after attending this years Blog Societies conference!

I was expecting a lot from the conference, and I have to say, it completely blew me away. I learned SO much (my note taking nerd self was out in full force), and I was just trying to soak up as much as I could. And then there were all the amazing people I got to meet. The people behind the brands who sponsored the conference couldn't have been more amazing. And finally getting to meet some of my best blogger friends? Absolutely WONDERFUL! Let me tell you guys, the bloggers at this conference were some of the sweetest people on earth. And all my southern gals had me saying "y'all" in every other sentence by the end of the week.

This look was for the first night, aka the Vera Bradley Welcome Party. This Maison Jules dress was an easy pick (thanks to my Mom finding it), and it seemed to be a hit with everyone else as well! I am a sucker for twirly skirts, and this one has a perfect twirl!

Who likes twirly skirts as much as I do?

pink eyelet

I bought this top on a whim during a Loft sale back in July, and it quickly became one of my favorite shirts! I've been really into key pieces lately, rather than "trendy" pieces that I tend to wear only a few times. Probably a good move on my part (or at least my bank account thinks so). So I'm all about finding comfy, but pretty tops that can be worn in numerous ways! Starting to feel like an adult with this grown up decision! ;)

I think I could get used to this buying "staples" thing!
