This leather skirt has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years now, and when I got this plaid shirt from Old Navy, I knew I wanted to wear them together. Add in my new favorite black leather booties, and I was set for a day with my man...well, my very large, scarecrow man ;)

sister style + a giveaway!

When people get introduced to my sister and I, one of the first things we always hear is "Oh, you two look like sisters!". (I've always thought this was a strange thing to say, but anywho.) While we may look similar, we are so different in every other aspect. Even with dancing, which we both did. I did ballet, and she did more competitive dance styles. These differences obviously translate into our styles as well, and I always love how effortless hers is. Girl can put on a simple tank and some shorts and look adorable. She has a laid back vibe, especially with her mermaid hair. (Seriously. Her hair gets blonde in the summer without any help other than the sun, and just magically gets those beachy waves my thick hair will never be able to hold.) I took a picture of her outfit when I was home, but decided I would do a whole post about it!

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know about my obsession with Always Anchors. I found Karina's etsy store on tumblr of all places, and immediately fell in love. I'm pretty sure I placed my order within 24 hours of finding the store! I love her bows, and they are so well made for such a low cost to us! I am so excited to be making this post right now! Cutie Bowtootie Hair Bows has been in my favorite shops on Etsy for over a year now, and Courtney makes the cutest bows, ranging from Disney to Pixar to superheroes and more! They're perfect for a DisneyBound (which is essentially dressing up like a character, but not in an actual costume: see here!) and they're easily some of the prettiest bows on Etsy! I'm in the midst of starting my own collection, and Courtney and I are going to give you the chance to too!
