Embroidery and High Waisted Shorts

It feels so good to get back to blogging and taking pictures again! This was my first time shooting in Nashville, and I loved it. I don't think I'll ever run out of places to take pictures here!
This is my idea of a perfect summer outfit. A breezy shirt, white shorts and some comfy sandals. Add in simple earrings and a bright purse, and I'm all set!

Lilly Pulitzer Pink

Coming back with another look from the Blog Societies Conference in Charleston! I found this bright pink Lilly dress and knew it would be perfect for the trip. I kept it neutral with the accessories since the dress was so bright, but I think my pearl Kendra Scott earrings were the perfect touch!
(Also, funny story about these pictures. We had planned to take pictures at the Pineapple Fountain, but is was so hot and there were a ton of kids playing in it. So we ended up just walking down a random street, and ended up with these. Just proves that all the streets are gorgeous in Charleston!)

simple, minimalist jewelry

I am always down for fun statement pieces, but lately I've been wearing more and more minimalist jewelry pieces. I love how simple and pretty they can look, and how perfect they are when layered! Plus, they're so easy to add to an outfit. Definitely going to be filling out my jewelry collection with softer pieces right now!
