This post has two of my favorite pieces right now. A plaid blazer from Target and velvet smoking slippers from C.Wonder. And why yes, I did manage to get them both on major deals! ;) The blazer is only $35 (and also comes in khaki with hot pink accents!) and the shoes were only $20! The shoes are last season, and I managed to score the last pair in my size (in the whole company!) at my C.Wonder outlet this summer. One of my favorite purchases ever. Plus those little rivets? They're french bulldog faces. Even better. (And thanks to my dad for being awesome and taking a million pictures for me when the sun was not cooperating. #bestphotographer)
So, it's safe to say I have a mug obsession. Pretty much an understatement at this point. I just love cute mugs, and like having lots to choose from! Not a crime, am I right? ;) I'm constantly on the look out for cute mugs, even if I have no more room in this tiny apartment of mine, and these are some of my faves right now! (Just don't tell my mom, she thinks I have plenty!)
A little weekend update from me: PASSED ALL MY MIDTERMS, WAHOO! My parents came up to visit for the weekend, so I got to hang with them and some family and it was lovely. My dad helped me out in my apartment to try to cut the noise down (dear people in the hallway, be quiet. dear neighbor, you also be quiet), and so far it is seriously helping! (Thanks Daddy!) Came back to my apartment yesterday and had a total lazy day. Pretty darn good weekend. Now onto the outfit! I've said before how obsessed I am with my puffer vest, and just to reiterate it, I think I wear it at least once a week! (no shame) I wanted to see if I could dress it up a little, and I think it turned out pretty well!
one: I am totally geeking out right now!! Disney has a movie coming out in May called Tomorrowland, and just from reading the first look article about it, I'm obsessed! I don't even have words! Read it here and see some more first look pictures! (Yes, I know. Official Disney nerd status.)
It seems like all any blogger can talk about lately is plaid blanket scarves! Not that I'm complaining, because they're perfect for fall and winter and I definitely need one (or 100. who's counting, right?) The epitome of the plaid blanket scarf is the Zara one, but since those sell out before the first signs of cold even arrive, it's lucky for us that there are so many other options! And that you have me to put a bunch of them together for you ;)
My new motto, after hearing my friend say it, is "Dress Well, Test Well". Passed my dosage calculation test with a 100%! Cue the confetti! Obviously all because of a cute outfit (and my awesome math skills). This skirt is one of my faves, mainly because I managed to snag it on Old Navy clearance for $5 about four years ago. EPIC. And I love the look patterned tights give. Such a fun pop of unexpectedness!

Okay, new kind of post today! I got my first Vox Box from Influenster, and I decided I would make a video reviewing what came in my box! This is my first ever video, and my editing skills are definitely lacking. (Hence why this is just one long video with no cuts. iMovie and I are not friends.)
