I had to wear a white dress for my high school graduation, and now I just associate them with all graduations. I wore one for my college graduation, and I just ordered this two piece dress for my nursing school graduation! In my searches for a white dress, I came across SO many cute options, that I just had to share. Plus, every girl should have multiple little white dresses at her disposal, right? ;)
Dresses have always been my go-to for summers. They're cute and don't make you extra hot. Win, win! But I never want to spend a ton of money to fill up my closet with this summer necessity. So I went ahead and rounded up summer dresses under $50. You can thank me later ;)
In my opinion, having a cute dress is totally necessary for going out on Valentine's Day. (Shocking, coming from a fashion blogger, right?) But it's always fun finding that perfect red or pink dress to wear out! I've done some searching and found some seriously cute (and affordable!) dresses that would be perfect for everything, from a romantic night out to a girl's night!
In my opinion, the best part about Valentine's day is all the candy. In a close second though is all the fun red, pink and heart shaped goodies that make their way out. Pink is my favorite color (just call me Elle Woods), so obviously I like taking advantage of all the fun things! Below are some of my favorites that I've come across this year! I have been wanting to start a cute matchbox collection for a while now and the 'muah' one is too cute to pass up! And how sweet is the wine stopper?
It seems like all any blogger can talk about lately is plaid blanket scarves! Not that I'm complaining, because they're perfect for fall and winter and I definitely need one (or 100. who's counting, right?) The epitome of the plaid blanket scarf is the Zara one, but since those sell out before the first signs of cold even arrive, it's lucky for us that there are so many other options! And that you have me to put a bunch of them together for you ;)
I turn 22 a week from Sunday (Aug 3)! Woo! You better believe I'll be singing the Taylor Swift song all day long. (Sorry family.) I don't really have any set plans yet, but I'm just happy that I'll actually be at home with my family this year! I'm sure we'll end up doing something fun, so why not do a little birthday outfit inspiration?
Modcloth (a navy ballerina dress? yes please!) // Modcloth (always say yes to pink, polka dotted 50's inspired dresses)
Did anyone else ever jump on the wanelo bandwagon? It's another form of pinterest (in my opinion) but everything leads to something that you can buy! Such an awesome and terrible thing all in one. (awesome because yay finding things! terrible because my bank account will not be happy.) So I figured I'd bring back wishlist Wednesday with some of my wanelo picks! (PS big shout out to Katie Schulz! Hearing how much you love my blog totally made my day!!)
With it becoming warmer and only a couple weeks left in school, I am definitely caught up in all the new spring and summer lines from stores! So it is definitely time for another day of wishlisting! (Whether the items on said wishlist are attainable or not is a whole different question!)
I got a pair of Kate Spade Keds for Christmas, and I absolutely love them! I was so excited about getting to wear them in this warmer weather we're having right now, since I was always too scared to wear them with the mucky snow on the ground. (Didn't want to get them dirty!)
It's cold again. Excuse for while I go hide under all my blankets and pretend that it's still the lovely warm weather we had last week. (Obviously I can be a tad dramatic at times.)
So, this week I am trying something new. If you follow me on instagram, then you probably already saw, but I planned out my outfits for the week ahead of time! I figure that if I plan it ahead of time, I won't have an excuse to throw on a sweatshirt and leggings. Plus, taking outfit pictures for the blog has definitely been giving me some extra incentive!
