etsy artists

I always feel like such a grownup when I think about wanting art and art prints for a future apartment or house. Anyone else? I mean, it's definitely not something I would've cared about a couple years ago. I must be growing up! ;)
One of my favorite places to scavenge for art is Etsy. So many talented people out there! Here are some of my favorite art stores right now...

I Draw Skies by Michaela Jean: Michaela is one of my favorite people in this blogisphere of ours. She's adorable and hilarious, and happens to be INCREDIBLY talented on top of it all! Seriously...do you see those pictures above? She painted those! I cannot wait to get one for my future apartment. Psst, you guys should follow her instagrams (1, 2) to keep up with her paintings!

A Thing Created: I've been following along with Erisha on the A Thing Created instagram for a while now, and I just love the way she illustrates! All of her pieces are fun and sassy, and I could easily do an entire gallery wall just from her store! I mean, don't you just want to be that girl in the hot pink outfit? ;)

Lishy Lishy: I've talked about Alisha's etsy store on here before, so I obviously had to include it in today's post. I love all the cute prints she has in the store, plus these bright and colorful canvas paintings would be such a fun addition to a house! (I could totally see this in a home office!) Definitely check out her instagram as well, so many fun pictures!

H. Nichols Illustration: Holly is another illustrator I've been following on instagram for a while, probably since I started my blog! She draws the cutest girls in the most gorgeous outfits. I am totally wishing I had all of her drawings' outfits in my closet! I could definitely see putting her prints above the area where I blog, or in my closet/bathroom for inspiration!

fancy LBD

At this point, everyone knows I love the little black dress. It's just such a versatile piece, and a definite closet staple. When I got this fun and flirty LBD from Azalea Terrace Boutique, I just knew I wanted to dress it up! Add a sparkly necklace and a bright pink coat, and I was good to go!
Also, use the code SPARKLES15 at Azalea Terrace Boutique to get 15% off your purchase!

weekly roundup

one: Oh my cuteness. This groom pauses during his vows to say vows to his new wife's daughter, and it totally brought me to tears. How amazingly sweet!

two: 31 times celebrities gave the BEST responses to sexist questions. Starting up the slow clap right now. You ladies rock.

three: A list of the best proposal spots at Disney parks. Can I just have a proposal at each of them? ;) I think the Be Our Guest restaurant would top the list for me (with my love for Beauty and the Beast), but the caricature idea is SO cute!

four: 17 very very tiny kittens. Oh my goodness. Now only if they could stay this cute and adorable forever, I could probably be a full on cat person.

Have a fun (and hopefully somewhat warm) weekend!

flowers galore

First things first, I'm writing this from my new laptop! EEK! I had a Macbook before (the old white one) and it lasted me a good five years. But the battery life and speed was just not cutting it anymore, and I finally got to upgrade to the Macbook Pro! I've said "it's so preeeeeeeetty" so many times now.
Okay, on to today's post. I went to the Philadelphia Flower show yesterday, and WOW. I don't even know how to describe these amazing scenes people put together using all live plants. And this year's theme was Disney and Pixar movies, which obviously made it about ten million times more awesome! So now get ready for picture overload! :)

Has anyone else been to the Philly flower show?

DIY inspiration

SO. I got a new laptop (YAY, much needed, insert confetti emoji here). BUT since I wanted to do the Apple transfer service (obviously much needed), I won't have my laptop until sometime on Thursday probably. I probably should've done the responsible blogger thing and planned out posts for the whole week, but I was feeling optimistic about the timelines, and only planned Monday and Tuesday #bloggerfail. So now we're going to interlude my normal shopping and outfit posts with a few more inspiration posts.
I absolutely love doing crafts and DIYs. I think they're so much fun, and it's always great when you can tell someone you did it all yourself! Here are some ones I want to try out soon!

fun, bright heels

I don't know about you guys, but all this dreary weather has me wanting to buy every in bright colors! (Soooooo ready for spring!) Lately, I've been seriously attracted to fun and bright heels! Nothing like some fun heels to brighten up your whole outfit. Ideally, I'd be getting the pair of hot pink Jimmy Choos I spied at Nordstrom the other day, but in reality...I think I'll be going with a much more budget friendly option!

Which pair is your favorite?

smellin' pretty

One of my New years resolutions this year was to be better at remembering to put on perfume. It's just something I would always forget, since I usually get ready while still wearing pajamas, and out on my clothes later. But I have definitely been ding better with it lately, so I thought I would share my favorite scents with all of you!

DKNY Be Delicious is probably my absolute favorite scent. I've been wearing it for a couple of years now, and my always go-to. It's fruity without smelling like a little kid body spray, and surprisingly refreshing! Definitely brings the spring and summer around even when it's freezing rain outside.

Daisy So Fresh by Marc Jacobs is my newest (aka got it for Christmas) and I already love it! My dad comments every time I wear it how good it smells, so obviously it's a winner! It's described on Sephora as being "more fruity, more bubbly, more fun" then the original fragrance, and I agree! I actually wasn't a fan of the original Daisy, so this variation is perfect for me!

Oh, Viva La Juicy. I've been wearing this since high school. (Much better than my earlier go to of Pink Sugar. Smelled like a walking piece of cotton candy.) I don't wear this one as much anymore, but that's just because it's a little stronger than the others. I like wearing this when I'm going out for a girls night, or something fun that requires a fun scent! (Hot pink lipstick would also be a must.)

Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift is my most surprising like. I obviously love Taylor Swift, but I'm always super skeptical of celeb perfumes. (Anyone else hate all the Britney Spears ones?) But I quickly fell in love with this as soon as I tried it! (And it also wins for prettiest bottle.) It's sweeter than the others, so I have to be in a sweet kind of mood to wear it ;)

What are your favorite scents?
