black and mint

Back to Monday. I had a pretty chill weekend (thankfully) and I'm ready for the week ahead. Time to get organized and get everything into place! We had a couple days of gorgeous low 70's weather, which meant jeans and tank tops! It'll be more of a swimsuit outfit this week, as we head up into the 90's :/

florals and stripes

I am the new biggest fan of silk tank tops. I always thought it looked a little too lingerie like, but I never realized how perfect they are for summer! They don't cling to your skin at all and are just breezy and perfect. (See? Biggest fan.) Plus, I scored this one at a major sale at the J.Crew outlet. And you guys know what a big fan of sales I am!

Anyone else a big fan of silky tanks?

red cherries

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I start summer babysitting today, and I'm actually excited! Getting to play games all day and hang out with some of my favorite kids, while getting paid. Works for me!
I actually wore this outfit a couple weeks ago, but the outfits had gotten lost in a sea of graduation and being home. It's one of my favorite shirts, and just so perfect for warmer weather! (Can't wait for cherry season!)

neon green and rain boots

I took a cue from my own post about dressing up rain boots and wore a dress with my boots yesterday. I had a presentation for one of my classes (when will teachers realize that group projects are absolutely terrible?) and even though we didn't have dressing guidelines, I always feel like you should dress nicely when you present (my group members didn't feel the same). Obviously I'm a little bitter about this group project! And it actually ended up not really raining so much (just got really humid), so I ended up ditching the jacket and slipping on sandals after class to run errands!

Does anyone else love pairing dresses with rain boots? I think wet legs are so much better than wet jeans!
