Ski Sweater

Do you ever have a piece of clothing that you put on and it makes you feel a certain way? This sweater is that piece for me! Every time I put it on, I feel like I need to be in an Aspen lodge, getting ready to go out skiing! Therefore, I shall forever be calling this my ski sweater. I wanted to fancy it up for this shoot, so I paired it with this mini skirt and some fun tights. But it's just as easily worn with jeans and boots! Okay ski sweater, you're my favorite.

Do you ever find those outfits where you just immediately feel super chic and sophisticated? This was totally this outfit for me. But really, who doesn't feel extra fabulous when wearing black on black with some fabulous shoes? (I also have just now fallen in love with the more pencil skirt style. Who knew they could be so flattering??) Modern Day Belle

When I asked the girls I nanny for what I should be for Halloween, the resounding answer was that I need to be a princess. (Not surprising coming from girls who love dressing up as princesses themselves!) So I obviously turned to my favorite princess of all time, Belle! And when I snagged this dress from the LC Lauren Conrad collection a couple weeks ago, I knew it was the perfect dress for it. (I actually came out of the dressing room to show my mom and said quite loudly, "IT'S A BELLE DRESS!"....I swear I'm 23.) Add in a bow and a fairytale book, and my modern day Belle look was set for Halloween!

This summer has been my first foray into crop tops, and I've been pretty much living in them! Such a perfect summer top, especially with how hot and humid it's been. It is also my first foray into high waisted shorts, which I had to snag after seeing how cute everyone was looking in them! And when I found a pair for $15 at Forever 21...of course I couldn't say no!

I feel like a fact that most people know about me is that I love Disney. I was born in California, semi close to Disneyland, and my mom was working at the Disney Store at the time. I joke all the time that helped make me into the Disney nerd that I am today ;) So obviously when I saw the clothes from Lauren Conrad's Minnie Mouse line, I knew I had to snag at least something! And as soon as I (and my mom and dad) saw this shirt, I knew it was perfect! Girly and cute, just like Minnie.
