In my opinion, the best part about Valentine's day is all the candy. In a close second though is all the fun red, pink and heart shaped goodies that make their way out. Pink is my favorite color (just call me Elle Woods), so obviously I like taking advantage of all the fun things! Below are some of my favorites that I've come across this year! Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great day yesterday. (My night probably could have gone better, but oh well!) The bar we went to last night had a date auction with it's employees, and it was probably the funniest thing I've ever witnessed. I'm talking guys booty shakin' and girls holding roses to give to their potential date. Definitely the highlight of the night. There were also heart balloons everywhere, which I was a total fan of.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Or for all the singles, like me, happy pink/heart wearing and candy eating day! ;) To be honest, I'm not as upset about being single as I thought I would be. I'm actually really good with being single right now, and it probably helps that all my friends happen to be too! Plus, this day gives me an excuse to wear a lot of pink and wear a bow with hearts on it. A total win in my eyes. So enjoy some pinkspiration and I hope you all have a great day! (Make sure to order a pink/red drink tonight if you're going out! ;))

Valentine's day is a little over a week away, and everyone I know is either being overly cutesy with their significant other or freaking about being single. Me? I'm just so ready to get my annual Valentine's Day care package from my parents, that I know will be filled with my favorite candies, and to wear pink and hearts! I just ordered this glorious bow package and can't wait to get it and wear the heart bow on the 14th. It'll be the one day of the year where my friends can't tease me for all the pink and bows I wear out to the bars here (although, they still probably will!). 
So whether you're going on a hot date with your special someone, or hanging out with friends, make sure you're dressed in holiday appropriate attire!

So, I'll be gone for the next couple days. I'm driving up to Pittsburgh today to attend an open house for the accelerated nursing program I was admitted to for the fall! EEE! A very exciting trip for me!
