cozy in plaid

I feel like it's such a blogger cliche at this point to love blanket scarves, but I really could care less! ;) I'm warm and cozy, and while their largeness cause some vision impairment, I will be wearing them until it gets warm. (Anyone else hoping for an early spring?) And this exact outfit is pretty much my go to. I think I wore it at least four times over the past month. SO COZY. Also, small note about these pictures. I'm laughing in pretty much every single one because it was incredibly windy and snow was blowing everywhere. My dad is such a trooper when it comes to taking pictures, and I swear we moved like five times. #bloggerlife

plaid and turtlenecks

Two of my favorite pieces of clothing right now: turtlenecks (basically have been living in them) and Old Navy Pixie pants. They look cute and fancy, but they are SO comfy! They're stretchy and it totally feels like wearing sweatpants. So pair a cozy turtleneck with a cute pair of Pixies and I am good to go. Add heels and bling to make it even fancier, and add Christmas lights to make it festive! ;)

leather and deals

There is something about wearing a leather jacket that makes you feel like you can kick some serious butt! Anyone else with me on that? The fact that almost everything in this outfit was a serious deal makes it awesome too. The necklace was an extra 60% when I got it, the jeans are from TjMaxx and were under $30 (and fit like a dream), and the sweater is also from TjMaxx (French Connection!) and was half off the original price! And the leather jacket. Ohhh, the leather jacket. Probably one of my mom and I's best deals to date. Originally over $400. And by combining all kinds of sales and coupons, we snagged it for a little under $100. We bought it four years ago, and totally still brag about the deal! Now, onto the butt-kicking outfit!
