I am all about the pastel nail colors right now. I've been wearing my light pinks, purples and mints since the beginning of March, and the slightly nicer weather has just been amplifying my love for them! Here of some of my favorite picks right now:

natural nail polish

So, this year is going to be hard for me. I am normally someone who changes her nail polish every week, and has a box full of dark colors for fall and winter. However, in my nursing program, part of the dress code says that we can only wear light and natural colors. Ugh. I have about one natural, light color in my box (Essie Ballet Slippers, which I do love). I tried to just go without nail polish for the first couple weeks, but I just can't do it! I need the polish. So now I need everyone's recs for their fave natural color nail polishes! Here are some ones that I'm loving right now:

I'm so excited to be flying home today to spend the weekend with my family! Lots of food made on the grill, FINALLY seeing Jersey Boys, and spending countless hours by the pool. CAN'T WAIT!
Since I'm on pinterest constantly (I probably need to be in some kind of pinterest anonymous group at this point) I've been seeing so many cute pictures of 4th of July nail art! While I could never actually do the art myself, I think it looks beyond awesome and thought a roundup of my favorites was in order!

spring nail colors

I absolutely love having my nails painted. I am just not very diligent with it, and always end up picking at the polish once it grows out a little. (I know, terrible habit.) But I actually made it one of my new year's resolutions to be better about my nails, and so far I've been doing well! (Insert confetti emoji!) Now that it's officially spring, I just want everything in spring colors. Which, of course, includes nail polish colors. Here are some of my favorite picks for spring!
