basic tee and jeans

Do random pieces of fashion advice ever stick with you guys? I swear i remember the most random things. I, for some reason, remember my dad saying at one point that he thought my mom looked beautiful in a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans, and that it was his favorite outfit on her. Which I'm pretty sure I laughed at at the time, because I didn't understand how such a plain outfit could look that good. Fast forward lots of years and add some fashion sense, and I now understand that this outfit is the best one. So simple and chic, and can literally be worn with anything! (And you can totally sub a white shirt with some writing on it if your plain white tee is dirty. Totally can.)
