netflix lately

Netflix instant has turned out to be my saving grace lately. I can easily get pretty stressed about school work and focus too much on it. So I've been using Netflix as a quick in between study break, or a little marathon at night to help clear my head. And it has seriously helped. Plus, I'm finally starting to make a dent in things I want to watch!

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Well, Tina Fey has done it again with this AWESOME Netflix comedy. Ellie Kemper is absolutely hilarious in this, and the story lines (while completely absurd and a little insane) just work some how, and have you giggling through the entire episode. I don't want to give any details about the show, just because it's even more hilarious when you go into it knowing nothing. (It's only 13 episodes, ad they're each under 30 min. An easy binge watch ;))

Death Comes to Pemberley: I love pretty much everything Jane Austen, and have watched pretty much every retelling of Pride and Prejudice at this point.  So when I found this miniseries sequel to it, I knew I had to watch! And then I watched all three episodes at once because I was so hooked! Highly recommend this! (It is essential though that you've read the book or watched one of the retellings!)

Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's: I've really been loving documentaries lately, and this one is easily one of my favorites. It's all about Bergdorf Goodman, the department store in New York. It goes through the history, behind the scenes, hearing designers stories with the store and a million other things (like how they go about creating those amazing window displays!). I was completely enthralled the entire time I was watching, and I will absolutely be making a stop in next time I'm in New York (even if I can't afford anything quite yet!).

What have you been watching lately?

  1. I loved Kimmy Schmidt. Episode 11 is my favorite. So many 30 Rock style jokes. The writing is incredible. I just about lost it when the prosecutors came on screen.
